Some people reported problems with Virtual Dub on Win 10 although it should work. Then the problem is with the codecs not with Virtual Dub. I use it mainly to crop movies, and as I said it works with many popular formats, right out of the box. It is not quite as sophisticated as VirtualDub but is definitively much more easier to use.
